Remuneration value up to $419 501 p.a. (L24-L25) or Remuneration value up to $401 498 p.a. (L18-L23) or Remuneration value up to $362 521 p.a. (L13-L18) employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements.
Temporary full time or part time through to 12th May 2023.

Purpose of the Role
Working at the Babinda Hospital within rural health services across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, you will contribute as a dynamic Senior Medical Officer, providing high quality clinical care to hospital in-patients and patients at rural clinics. You will assist the Director of Medical Services in the development of safe medical practice and optimising clinical skills for medical and nursing staff.

You will provide a high standard of care for patients and their families, contributing to improving the health of the local population.
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16): measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) varicella (chicken pox) pertussis (whooping cough) hepatitis B tuberculosis It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 (Health Employment Directive No. 12/21 and Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
