Position Overview

Charter has a full time position for an Assistant Valuer to support our Commercial Valuations team in Sydney. This position will gain exposure across a range of Commercial asset classes including industrial, commercial office, and retail. This position will provide support through research and evaluation of property related data, and assistance with reporting requirements.

Core ResponsibilitiesAccompany and assist the team in undertaking property inspections, including measurement.Undertake research of comparable property sales, leasing evidence and other relevant information.Assist with evaluation and data analysis including financial analysis and cash flow modelling.Contribute to the compilation of Valuation reports, supported by appropriate commentary.Regularly update the internal database.Monitor and highlight issues in relation to risk and compliance.Liaise with clients and external parties as required.

Position RequirementsCompleted or completing tertiary qualifications in PropertyAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in ExcelExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsExcellent research and data analysis capabilityDisciplined and organised with strong attention to detailStrong desire to develop skills and knowledgeAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing requirementsStrong interest in property and the property marketCommercially astute
