Role

As a member of the People & Development (P&D) Strategy and Projects team, you will be responsible for the support and coordination of the firms Human Resource Information System (HRIS) project.

Reporting to the Brisbane based Senior P&D Projects Manager, you will support the Senior P&D Projects Manager and Senior P&D Systems Manager, to will ensure the project is successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated and implemented. You will be relied upon to act as the right-hand person to pull things together.

You will work closely with P&D members of the project team, the wider P&D team nationally, other shared service groups (particularly IT and Finance) to ensure the project is supported to implement the new HRIS on time and within budget.

Detail

With flexibility to be based in the Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane CBD office, this legacy role will value your solution focused approach and experience working in close partnership with project delivery teams. Your key responsibilities will include: All aspects of project coordination, in particular monitoring key deliverables and responsibilities and escalating where appropriate. Act as a point of contact for Function Leads, SMEs and other project team members when the Project Manager is not available. Project Management Office support in the form of presentation preparation, setting agendas for meetings, taking detailed notes and action items, following up on actions and coordination of project team and SteerCo meetings. Support on system implementation including working closely with SMEs to provide input on business processes, system testing and ad-hoc system tasks throughout. Assist with project delivery, ensuring it is on time and to budget and within agreed quality and scope. Report project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities. Assist in managing dependencies between projects (HRIS and Payroll) including resources, system environments, external vendors and release calendars. Stakeholder engagement relationships with external vendors and key internal stakeholders such as the wider P&D team. Assist with Issue and risk identification.

Your ability to manage priorities and time in accordance to schedules is what will set you up for success, however its your ability to engage and build professional relationships with people at all levels of the organisation that will set you apart.

You will also bring: Strong business acumen to understand the why to then be able to translate and communicate as needed, in a clear and concise way Enjoyment connecting the dots through your strategic thinking capabilities Strong stakeholder engagement experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3+ years information technology project experience Bachelors degree in computing related field Industry certification (Prince2, PMP etc) Understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk and issue management, procurement, integration testing and implementation Previous experience working with business and technology stakeholders to deliver various types of technology solutions will be looked on favourably
