Senior Change & Training Analyst | ICT

As a Senior Change & Training Analyst, you will work closely with the Organisational Change

Manager, broader project team, and key internal and external stakeholders to undertake key project change management activities contributing to the delivery of a staged project implementation plan, including change management strategy and related deliverables directly contributing towards successful implementation of new VET Information Communication and Technology (ICT) systems.

You will take on a pivotal role in driving change initiatives associated with the replacement of a significant VET ICT system known as DELTA (Contract and Contact Management system). This project encompasses the integration of a new CRM solution, along with facilitating the incorporation of adjustments arising from the Federal Apprenticeships Data Management System (ADMS) initiative, ensuring increased user engagement and adoption.

The VET Modernisation and Transformation (VMT) Program team has been established to commence replacement of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Systems.

This suite of systems is a complex legacy set of applications, spanning multiple database

management systems and application technology platforms.

The VMT Program will utilise the Microsoft ecosystem to modernise VET systems and deliver new solutions for DEBST, which will reduce legacy risks and improve business outcomes and customer experiences. VMT Projects include:

- Contract and Contact Management
- Training Payment Management
- Reference Data and Systems
- Student Activity Management and Reporting
- VET Information Privacy and Security

All VMT Projects work together with stakeholders to leverage the latest Microsoft technologies (e.g. Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Data Lakes) and establish a modern VET technology platform.

You will be working with a focused team of professionals with a broad range of experience in delivery of ICT projects and programs.

The Corporate Services division leads the coordination of information and resources to support the efficient functioning of the Department. The Corporate Services division comprises the Executive Services, Strategic Communications and Corporate Services teams which includes Human Resources, Finance and Facilities, Procurement, Strategy and Governance, and ICT.

Key responsibilities

As the Senior Change Analyst, you will specifically:

- Develop and execute high quality technical, professional, tailored change management plans and communication strategies to meet business change objectives.
- Through high level written and oral communication skills, prepare and present high-level discussion papers, correspondence, communication, and briefing material relating to a range of organisational change and development initiatives.
- Lead the development, design and delivery of highly engaging, inclusive and accessible training programs associated with the project by utilising adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to achieve the business objectives of the VMT and organisational change.
- Contribute to the direction, partnerships and service delivery models for the team and business improvement initiatives.
- Foster close working relationships with key business stakeholders within the department; from subject matter experts, project teams and stakeholders to understand people impacts, provide advice and recommendations, and implement targeted projects and activities to deliver on business outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of a deep understanding of change impacts and stakeholder sentiments across DESBT and Queensland Public Sector to provide expert advice and contextual insights to all elements of change management, learning and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide a leadership role to other team members including external delivery teams in a busy and focused work environment.

Role requirements

- 3+ years' experience of training development and delivery with demonstrable experience of working in Change Management
- A formal qualification in Change Management or related field is a plus.
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) business transition will be highly regarded.
- Experience of using eLearning tools such as Captivate or Articulate360 is highly desirable.
- Must be happy to travel through the state if and when required.
