Searching for a commercially astute Senior Project Manager to lead the tendering phase of large scale Renewable Projects through to delivery. Reporting to the Program Director National Delivery, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for end to end delivery of large scale renewables projects from the inception, through to the end to end responsibility for the delivery of all phases of the project lifecycle. Focus on leadership, safety, environment, quality, time and budget objectives.
Key elements of the role:
- Develop all project management plans
- Focused on development works including estimating and commercial management
- Strong background within the energy industry
- Experienced in management and delivery of multimillion dollar value electrical infrastructure projects (eg renewable assets, batteries, HV power lines and substations)
- Leading and delivery of large complex electrical infrastructure projects
- Managing safety, commercial, finance, stakeholders, schedule, governance and project delivery
What you will need to succeed:
- Engineering degree or other relevant discipline and or equivalent level of skill and knowledge gained through a suitable level of industry experience.
- Formal qualification in Project Management and or the equivalent level of skill and knowledge gained through experience.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors to drive performance to safety and quality standards
- Proven technical knowledge of renewable power generation assets, and their design, construction, operation and maintenance phases.
- Clear logical thinker who can quickly understand risks and issues to mitigate or resolve
- Establish and maintain good working relationships, and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of the National Electricity Market and processes
- Computer literacy with MSOffice products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Natural initiative and problem solving abilities
- Drivers License (essential)
