The recruitment of this position constitutes part of the Randstad Recruitable Hydro Tasmania Pilot and is open only to applicants with disability. The Pilot is a government funded program specifically for the recruitment of people with a disability. About the Team

Momentum Energy is a 100% Australian-owned and operated, energy retailer. They pride themselves on innovation and outstanding customer service. To date, they retail electricity in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, the ACT, and the Bass Strait Islands.

An opportunity has become available to work in the Contact Centre team as a Customer Care Agent on a full or part time permanent basis, however you would need to be available to work full time hours during your first 6 weeks of training. This is a great opportunity to start your career with Momentum Energy.

About the role

The Customer Care Agent will be a phone based role, as a first point of customer contact to ensure both internal and external customers (including field sales teams).

With the contact centre operating from 8am - 7pm, Monday - Friday, there will be a rotating roster and will need to be available for regular shifts during these hours.

- Provide a high level of customer service offering a one stop shop and first call resolution mindset
- Undertake a variety of tasks associated with customer service, basic billing and account maintenance
- Entering accurate details of customer communications, into Momentum Energys systems

About you

- Strong verbal and written customer communication skills
- Confident in using various software packages, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to build rapport with customers to understand their needs
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
