Job summary
Our client is a leading real estate developer and manager, committed to creating affordable luxury apartments in quality landmark buildings that add an exciting feel to the promenades of Australias thriving capital cities and neighbourhood centres.They are seeking 3 x Building Managers to look after residential buildings, based in the CBD fringe. A brief summary of each position is as follows:
Position #1
Looking after brand new building/tower This position is a 50/50 split of looking after the building and supervising the other building management staff and concierge The building is approx. 300 apartments The appointed candidate must be customer focused, able to manage staff and work within a team This role is based mainly from the Building Management Head Office located in the building Monday Friday onsite, on call after hours The building has onsite concierge and security Position #2
The building has roughly 400 apartments The building has onsite concierge and security Role involves manning the concierge desk from 7am 11am then based onsite or in the building management head office from 11am 3pm This building has a very active owners committee so the candidate must understand the importance of creating and maintaining relationships with the residents and attending to building maintenance items promptly Position #3
Looking after 2 smaller buildings of approx 350 apartments in total Neither of these buildings have a concierge onsite This role involves daily building checks, meeting maintenance contractors onsite and attending to resident phone calls and email Role is Monday to Friday, based in the building management head office when not onsite. This role will suite a junior or assistant building manager
These 3 roles do not necessarily require facilities management experience, the focus really is on customer service and keeping residents happy and attending to building issues promptly. All building items are maintained by regular service contractors, so from a maintenance perspective, its about reporting issues right away and working with the service contractors to ensure that they are showing up and completing the necessary works to keep the building compliant.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have worked in a similar role previously, or have done something complimentary, such as Property Management, Owners Corporation Management or even Hotel Management (and are looking to try something different!)
