About Our Client

Our Client is a leading real estate development and investment company with over $60billion assets under management across 13 markets including Australia, Asia, Europe, UK and North America. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be supported by a team and focused on the Logistics asset portfolio.

Job Description

The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Responsible for assigned portfolio of a group of entities
- Financial Statement preparation and completing statutory reporting requirements
- Lead and support the junior members of the Finance team with month end processes, reviewing and approving finance transactions, audit schedules and various reconciliations.
- Management Reporting, preparation of cash flow projections, analysis of results, forecasting and budgeting
- Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly reports
- Providing corporate tax information and completing BAS and PAYG reporting
- Assist in other ad hoc projects including systems implementation
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audits and tax and BAS filing/compliance

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
- CA or CPA qualification
- At least 7 years experience of relevant accounting experience in a hands on role
- Experience within the Property Development and Investment industry or Financial Services preferred
- Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards and AASB requirements
- Experience supervising and leading a team
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience liaising with Property Managers/Agents and Auditors
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Hard working, proactive and thrives in working in a fast paced environment
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a broader Finance team
