Job Description
- As an entry-level recruiter, you will embark on a global on-boarding program designed to equip you with the necessary tools to be successful in your role. You will also participate in locally designed training and development sessions to further enhance your skills.
- Your main responsibility will be to build and execute a strategy for marketing mapping and business development, with the goal of maximising the commercial return from your specialist recruitment desk. This will involve identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and establishing long-term relationships with them.
- In addition to business development, you will manage the full recruiting sales cycle, including identifying suitable candidates, screening and interviewing them, and presenting them to clients. You will also provide support to clients throughout the hiring process, including negotiations and offer management.
- To be successful in this role, you must be able to initiate and maintain long-term relationships with businesses and leadership teams who are looking to hire. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of the hiring needs and challenges faced by businesses in your area of specialisation.
- Finally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a talent pool of active and passive candidates. This involves fostering long-term relationships with potential candidates and helping them build their careers, even if they are not immediately placed in a job. By doing so, you can establish a reputation as a trusted advisor and partner to both candidates and clients, which will help you build a successful and rewarding career in recruitment.
The Successful Applicant
- As a successful candidate for a role at PageGroup, you will have a track record of success in recruitment, sales, or business development. You will have a natural drive for engaging with customers and building strong relationships, and you will be tenacious in your approach to business development.
- You will have a commercial mindset and the ability to identify sound business opportunities, taking a strategic approach to mapping out the market and building a network of clients and candidates. You will be able to understand and interpret market trends and leverage this knowledge to build successful partnerships with clients.
- Furthermore, you will have a high level of resilience and excellent objection handling skills. You will be able to handle rejection and objection with ease, using these challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow. You will be able to overcome objections and find creative solutions to complex problems, always putting the needs of your clients and candidates first.
