WesTrac are seeking Mechanics to join our team at Bulga. Working alongside a crew of experienced mechanics, this role will see you performing inspections, maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar equipment including 789C Rock Trucks, 797F & 793D Mining Trucks, D10 & D11 Dozers, 16M & 24M Motor Graders, 834H & 854K Wheel Dozers.
Our ideal candidates will have experience working with heavy vehicles alongside high-level technical skills and mechanical expertise, allowing them to thrive within the team.
Caterpillar product knowledge is advantageous.
Rosters & Remuneration
Lifestyle Roster (14/28 days within a cycle) Roster Pattern: 5 on, 4 off, 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off. 12.5 hour shifts Day shift: 6:30 to 19:00 Night shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hourly Rate: $61.00+ Overtime Rate*: $91.50+
*paid on any hours worked outside your rostered shifts

What are we looking for? Mechanical trade qualifications (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology highly desirable) Experience on mine sites is advantageous Heavy Vehicle experience is essential Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment Ability to work autonomously Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
