About Our ClientOur client is a small business going through exponential growth based north of the river. They are actively seeking a strong standalone HR Advisor to join their team in driving operational and strategic HR across the business.
Job Description
This role is a part of the Leadership team reporting directly to the Managing Director looking after the complete WA Operations. This role is a trusted business partner role responsible in providing valuable operational and strategic support, translating organisational strategy into coherent value-added activities.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director in continuously developing and delivering mentoring programs designed to build leadership capability, analytical thinking and develop decision making abilities.
- Provide effective training and provide monitoring and direction to employees in the application of best practice and regulatory protocols
- Continuously support in increasing employee engagement, productivity, and reduction in employee turnover by developing and implementing effective retention and talent identification strategies
- Devised and advised on cyclical HR processes and policy development.
- Lead and implement key human resource initiatives (strategic workforce planning, remuneration, training and development, performance management and organisational design)
- Continuously approach a proactive people centric approach to HR, the primary contact for employee
- Key contact for any industrial and employment relations matters across the business
- Coach, develop and support the Executive and Leadership team capabilities in relation to team and individual employee performance.
- Manage and drive effective performance management review process.
- Improve and increase efficiency of current HR processes.
- Establishing and revising policies, procedures and employment contract.
- Manage and advise on staff recruitment
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar generalist role. You will possess.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline;
- Knowledge of Human Resource legislative and statutory requirement and principles;
- Eagerness to develop and execute a strong recruitment, attraction and retention strategies across the business;
- Ability to provide operational and strategic HR support to the business;
- Excellent attention to detail in HR administration and reporting;
