Job summary
We are a passionate podiatry clinic looking for a new admin assistant to join our team for 1-2 days a week.This involves working together in a busy environment with supportive colleagues that can help coach, mentor, refine and support you during the induction process in our role.
Our goal is to help everyone in the community with foot problems - this also includes communicating with prospective clients in Cantonese and/or Mandarin on a regular basis which can be self-rewarding as they leave our clinic with comfort and relief.
We are also located close to public transport in the Burwood area with plenty of local cafes and different dining options.
Some of the Job Responsibilities (covered in the induction process) include, but are not limited to, the following:
Greeting and assisting patients
Answering telephone calls
Accuracy in data entry - input of information into our patient management software
Strong work ethics
Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining patient records
Assist with sterilisation of equipment and maintenance of the clinic
Communication and building rapport with doctors, other allied health colleagues and patients
General administration
Adherence to infection control policy for the clinic
Social media contributions
The following Experience and Attributes would be helpful:
Answering enquiries over the phone and in person in a professional, patient and courteous manner in English and Cantonese/Mandarin languages.
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Competent computer skills
Ability to multi-task, to work under pressure and prioritise work flow
High level attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Punctuality and reliability with a high level of discretion.
