Job Description
As the National HR Manager, you will be responsible for driving HR excellence and shaping the future of the business. With a national workforce, this role offers a unique chance to make a difference and contribute to the growth and success of the business.
Your primary focus will be on building a robust HR structure and rolling out the people plan over the next three years. With your strategic vision and hands-on approach, you will guide the development and implementation of HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, foster a positive culture, and drive organisational performance.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to navigate complex employment agreements and work collaboratively with unions. Your strong experience with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and deep knowledge of fair work practices will be essential in maintaining productive relationships and ensuring compliance in all HR operations. Your ability to effectively manage risk while promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
While not directly managing payroll, your understanding of payroll systems will be valuable in supporting the team and ensuring efficiency.
Over the next 12 months, you will have the opportunity to design and implement online learning programs in partnership with the National Training Manager.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a Senior HR Professional with experience in blue collar environments, you will have strong ER experience and a hands on approach and authentic style.
Experience with Kronos or meridien desirable but not essential.
Experience with RTOs would also be well regarded.
