Job Description
Looking to grow presence within Australia, the Business Development Manager is responsible and accountable for:
- Growing brand recognition and presence across Australia to achieve nominated targets including sales, market share & profitability
- Responsible for new business sales outside of the existing account portfolio as well.
- Manage and develop customer relationships with existing Australian customers
- Drive an intimate understanding of market, trends, and competitor products to enable sustained growth
- Arrange & conduct product training sessions and attend trade shows, exhibitions and sales meetings as required
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify future initiatives and establish road map
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience in sales with at least 4 of those in Business Development
- Must have experience in selling Tech Solutions with sales cycles of over 3 months and understand the differences between cloud vs on-premise
- Ideally experience in selling within the Healthcare space, specifically to Public and Private Hospitals
- Must have experience in dealing with solution based sales with transactions of over $50,000
- Experience in dealing with Executive level stakeholders and decision makers at Management level
- A hunter mentality and someone who has experience as well as examples of winning new business
- Must have the resilience to work in an Autonomous capacity, this role would be part of a growing team within Australia with the Head Office based in Europe
- Any sales awards or promotions in previous roles that can be discussed would be advantageous
