Our partnering department is looking for someone enthusiastic and not afraid of a challenge whilst making a positive difference in Victorian education.
About your new role
As a committed team player, the Senior Policy Officer will lead the development of policy and design activities as part of the Taskforce. This role is responsible for supporting project planning and management, conceptual framing and qualitative and quantitative analysis contributing to the design and implementation of stakeholder engagement activities, building and managing relationships with program delivery areas across the Department and the development of critical products to support senior decision making.
What you will need to exceed
- You will have strong communication, policy, legislative and regulatory design, and stakeholder management skills.
- Provide specialist advice on policy issues to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Guide the development of policy.
- Apply research methods to identify issues, trends, risks requirements and issues for policies, projects or initiatives.
- Identify and develop resources to support policy implementation.
- Present complex concepts ideas and issues in clear confident and timely manner.
