Job Description
The Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for but not limited to:
- The consolidation of key revenue and expenses for financial reporting and budgets
- Manage and lead the development of costing models
- Support a small portfolio of managers
- Key advisor on business performance, budget management, forecasting and financial modelling
- Provide financial analysis advise and regular reports to executives and managers
- Train new staff when required
- Produce reports, evidence and data analysis as required
- Collaborate with senior management to design, develop and implement the annual budget process
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have experience in the following:
- Degree qualified in accounting/business as well as CPA/CA or study towards distinction
- Demonstrate experience and knowledge partnering with businesses to develop and analyse performance to budget
- Ability to undertake analysis of key drivers, and ability to develop practical solutions/models
- High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Government financial management - highly desirable
- Significant experience with complex business systems (e.g., Finance One, MS Excel, MS Word)
- Current valid Working With Children Check
