Job summary
We are seeking an experienced cook who is passionate about preparing fresh meals for children aged 3 months to 6 years at our day care centre located at Waikiki, 6169 WA.This is a permanent part time role (10-12hrs a week) working Monday to Friday between 9am-11am.
The role is to commence ASAP.

The successful applicant will:Have experience and passion for cooking and presenting a wide variety of nutritious foods that are suitable for children aged 3 months to 6 years.Be confident in catering to the various dietary requirements and allergies. Knowledge of allergies and intolerance. Ensure each childs dietary and allergy requirements are met and displayed in the kitchen. This must be updated as new children enrol with requirementsBe reliable, positive and a well organised person.Have good time management skills and be confident in managing a kitchen.Maintain clean and hygienic practices.Represent the company in a positive manner expounding the values, ethics and pride at all times.Preparation of meals, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.Attention to food costs including limiting waste and managing stockEnjoy working with families, colleagues, and children.Hold a current Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain.Hold a current working with children check (WWC)Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (Desirable)
2. Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care Educator
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about children and willing to join our team.
This position is part-time 20 hrs a week. Our centre opens from 6am-6pm.
The successful applicant will:Hold a current Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain.Hold a current working with children check (WWC).Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (Desirable) or willing to be an apprentice. First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Certificates.Be reliable, positive and a well organised person.Be flexible with working time scheduled on the roster. Have driver licence. Represent the company in a positive manner expounding the values, ethics and pride at all times.Over 18 + years of age.Passionate and reliable candidates that engaging and interested in providing a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment.Contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of a quality early learning program for children enrolled in the Centre, ensuring individual childrens strengths, interests and needs are identified and their learning enhanced.Monitor and document childrens development and progress through a diverse range of methods that reflect the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework.
