IT / technology sales via channel partners Hybrid role - some work from home available OTE $180k This data solutions organisation is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to report directly to the Sales Director. The company is a trusted distributor of hardware and software, along with consultation services, and supplies many Australian Government departments as well as large corporate clients nationwide. The successful candidate will have IT/technical sales experience and ambition to drive the next phase of this companys growth strategy. It's a great time to join with new products and product launches taking place.Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Sell Vendor Technologies via channel partners through to end-user organisations Achieve sales goals within 10 to 12 existing channel partners and open up new channels and partnerships for the future Take on the responsibility and accountability to execute sales plans consistently and achieve the organisation's ambitious goals Possess the gravitas and credibility to forge strong relationships with channel partners to maximise sales and market share within end-user customers Generate and drive a successful sales plan and doggedly follow sales-process to uncover new opportunities and optimise existing relationships Work with end-user procurement teams and be comfortable influencing their technology evaluation decisions Build exceptional account plans for key customers and key targets and achieve sales goals through a collaborative approach To be successful in this role you will bring the following skills and attributes:
Demonstrable channel partner business development experience 4/5+ years of IT industry experience selling Vendor hardware or software or data storage etc Proven track record of channel growth and achieving performance targets Understanding of how to position, sell and negotiate value to channel partners and influence their sales results with end-user customers Proven results in selling "new client logos through partners" Be computer Savvy with knowledge of various CRM's Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
