Job summary
Western Health in collaboration with the West Metro Health Service Partnership is implementing systematic elective surgery reform.This Surgery Reform Manager role will become an integral leader in the Division of Perioperative & Critical Care Services at Western Health. This new will work in partnership with senior managers across the POCC Division to increase efficiency, reduce patient length of stay (LoS) and improve patient outcomes. The role will be responsible and accountable for the implementation of multiple projects that are evidenced based and centred on high quality and safe care keeping with the Best Care framework. This will be achieved through effective leadership, efficient management and visible role modelling.
The Surgical Reform Manager will manage a small team responsible for service improvements.
The Surgery Reform Manager will also regularly provide feedback & reports to the West Metro HSP Elective Surgery Project Director.
