We are seeking a talented Regional Accountant who is seeking career growth in a Global organization.
With at least four years + accounting experience, strong excel and system skills along with a positive can do mindset as well as enjoy seeking & developing solutions, driving process improvements to achieve their best for multiple Cummins businesses in the SEAPAC region.
Reporting to the Regional Senior Accountant and Regional General Ledger Manager for Cummins Business Services, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsibilities:Management of corporate travel cards, including preparation of journals and reconciliation of accounts. Reconciliation of Bank accounts Prepayment Management and Reconciliation. Payroll Accounting Management. Management of Variable Compensation Accrual. General Ledger Maintenance.Perform Year End and Month end close activities for the BU financials including preparation and posting of journal entries, reconciliation of Balance Sheet items, Cable File reporting & submission to Consolidation Ledgers. Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations as per Cummins GL Reconciliation policy. Assist in any Business project development and implementation as per Global Cummins Initiation. Identifying and developing process improvements and implementation to increase efficiencies within the team and business. Other ad hoc duties required to support the team.
About you:University degree qualified in Accounting/Finance and workings towards CA/CPATechnically strong accounting knowledgeIntermediate level in Microsoft Excel requiredStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsExcellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlinesProactive thinking, and a positive can do mindsetSelf-motivated & self-directed, with an ability to work autonomously as well as collaborativelyEnjoy seeking and developing solutions, driving process improvements, and turning ideas into work practices.
