job detailsWe require an experienced (Permanent Position) Site Supervisor/leading hand to join our Tier 2 Construction build client with multiple projects in Townsville. You will be responsible for the construction supervision, delivery of the project within the agreed time frames and budgets, ensuring the works are carried out in accordance with the companies quality standards and OH&S requirements
Responsibilities:
- Managing your allocated project in accordance with the specification and drawings
- Implementation and management of OHS
- Quality control and management
- Management of subcontractors, and materials
- Attend all site meetings as necessary
To be successful, candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- 5+ years practical experience in in a supervisory role specialising in education, health and aged care projects;
- Open Site Supervisors Licence or seeking to obtain;
- Excellent technical construction skills with the ability to solve problems and rectify technical issues;
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- An exceptional level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience in subcontractor management and a well-developed knowledge of contracts;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage individuals and high performance teams; and
- Highly developed time management, scheduling, and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines
