Job Description
- Daily bank reconciliations;
- Assist in preparing balance sheet reconciliations;
- Assist in month-end procedures and journal entries;
- Assist and contribute to the month end reporting;
- Assist in preparing tax and administration compliance items including GST, Payroll Tax and Work-cover;
- Respond to ad hoc information requests from the Head of Finance and other internal and external stakeholders;
- Update dashboards and tracking files;
- Other tasks as required to support accounts payable, payroll and reporting.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate is an outstanding communicator and they have a growth mindset to learn the accounting craft. They also have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- Previous accounting or internship experience highly regarded;
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team;
- Experience with MS Excel and ability to learn an ERP system;
- A growth mindset and willingness to learn.
