Job Description
You will be joining a team of 3 other NPD Project Managers and have a supportive, highly technical and passionate team around you providing a fun and enjoyable workplace Some key responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder management - Internal and external
- Work with external suppliers/customers during project development, briefing, concept and execution stages
- Lead NPD project meetings, track progress Vs timelines ensuring key milestones are met
- Ensure customer expectations are met, providing constant updates and reporting
- liaise and support sales, marketing and production teams on projects and ensure all new briefs are scoped and ready for approval
- Identify and recommend any continuous improvement ideas
Whilst full training is provided, you will need to have an understanding of the industry, and have demonstrated experience in a similar NPD or Project Management role. This is a client-facing role allowing you to work with some iconic clients on new and exciting food products coming to market.
The Successful Applicant
Due to some changes in the team and for training purposes, we are needing someone who has experience in managing multiple projects from start to completion, and a solid FMCG background.Whilst understanding the food process is not critical and training will be provided from a product perspective, what is essential is your PM experience and ability to understand, deliver and meet customer expectations and deliver on time and to budget whilst ensuring exceptional service.
An interest in the food industry, and NPD wouldn't go astray either
- Demonstrated experience in Project Managing from concept through to execution
- Ability to facilitate meetings, and work with other teams and stakeholders throughout the different stages
- A problem solver who is solutions focused with a commercial understanding
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management and/or Food Science will be highly regarded
