Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking highly motivated Structural Engineer to join the Infrastructure Group in our Sydney team.
As the successful candidate, you will:Providing structural engineering analysis and design for industrial structures, material handling structures, bridges, and civil structures (e.g., foundations, retaining walls, steel gantry structures, culverts) to Australian StandardsConducting structural condition assessmentsPlanning engineering activitiesPreparing engineering calculations, technical specifications, and scopes of workReviewing and checking engineering drawingsProviding input to engineering, operating and cost estimatesParticipating in and contribute to design reviews
You bring to the role:
As the successful candidate, you will have a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution, with demonstrated experience in structural design and design software (SpaceGass, Strand7). Leadership experience or ability to demonstrate potential in this area, along with strong verbal communication skills, report writing abilities and a good attitude for team work.
