Woods & Co have partnered with this local favourite established venue who are on the hunt for a capable Assistant Venue Manager to help assist the daily operations and oversee the smooth running of this café style venue.If you are an experienced Assistant Venue Manager at a top quality, fast paced venue who has a passion for going the extra mile to please your customers then this is the place for you!

They will be a person who lives and breathes the hospitality industry and is well versed in working in a big team. The ideal candidate must be good at problem-solving and have great people management skills in general.
This is a hands-on role - you'll be part of the service, be the leading team player, handle all people management tasks and troubleshoot service issues at times.

Assist with being the eyes and ears of operations Assist with training FOH staff Some coffee experience preferred but happy to train the right person Come from a cafe background Hands on approach in your work Meet, greet and seat customers Provide table service Manage open and closing procedures. Cash handling skills including cash up and daily reconciliations a bonus Ensuring smooth floor, and general operations Provide top notch customer service What do you need?
At least 2 years experience as an autonomous AVM Full working rights in Australia Fluent written and verbal skills Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability and Willingness to work across a 7-day roster. Ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks. Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team and lead by example. Demonstrated experience in training staff a bonus. Demonstrated experience with rostering also a bonus. Want to work long term and progress your career with the business. Previous experience working at some fast-paced higher end restaurants a bonus
