The Position

As our Service and Support Lead your key responsibility will be to interact with key customers to conduct on and off site assessments / repairs , provide technical and profitable solutions to new and existing customers.

Our aim, to deliver the best products and services within the industry shall be the successful candidate's motivational driver, the ideal candidate will be one in whom seeks to gain more out of their current work environment and driven to success.

Other responsibilities: Resolving technical enquiries utilising past experience gainedEnsuring suggested products are fit for purpose and performing to optimum levelsApply hands on experience to install, repair and/or service conveyor and hydraulic systemsAssist and mentor staff with technical quotes, project scope and daily activities

Who we are looking for

We seek an experienced tradesperson having previously been exposed to conveyer and/or hydraulics systems who wish to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate shall have proven experience in conveyor and belt cleaner systems with splicing and hydraulic competence highly regarded.

Essential:Substantial experience and knowledge in conveyor systems and associated componentsRemove and install rollers, roller frames and conveyor componentsOperation of conveyor vulcanising equipment and other fastener tooling as well as belt handling equipmentSound knowledge of hydraulic gearbox's, drive systems and cylindersSound proficiency in Microsoft office suiteStrong technical experience and ability to communicate, direct and leadThe ability to take the initiative and work autonomously and achieve resultsExcellent people skills with a desire to help and find solutions

Attitude: Highly motivated, excellent people and communication skills, commitment to safety, strong work ethic with and understanding of change transformation.

Qualifications/Tickets:
Current manual drivers licence (essential)High Risk Work Licence including Forklift (essential or willing to obtain)Maritime Security Identification Card (essential or willing to obtain)Coal Board Medical (essential or willing to obtain)Standard 11, supervisor 1,2,3 site inductions (desirable)Trade certification (essential)
