The Senior Digital Officer will coordinate the marketing and communication activities that drive the reputation, and engagement of CQUniversity. This role provides high-level support with strategic and operational communications and activities for the University to ensure an integrated communications and marketing approach. CQUniversitys digital presence amplifies our brand across our national online and social media platforms. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated digital strategist, whos primary focus will be on the scheduling, creation, delivery and evaluation of Paid Search (SEM) campaigns for the University while providing various implementation support for other digital campaigns.Position RequirementsTheoretical knowledge and experience with a range of campaign monitoring tools and methodologiesWorking closely with the supervisor to develop, implement, coordinate and future-proof the Universitys paid search advertising within a best practice in-house MarTech framework.Maintaining a positive working relationship with internal stakeholders and any appointed external digital consultants or agencies in order to implement and improve digital activities.Coordinate incoming paid search requests from Stakeholders and working with the Manager in planning approach and implementation.Providing mentoring, guidance and career planning for your staff and ensuring staff have access to appropriate professional development activities.Undertaking probationary and performance management processes and ensuring you have regular conversations with your staff and are providing positive and constructive feedback to enhance staff and team performance.Assisting the supervisor to deliver the operational activity for paid search engine marketing (SEM) across the major search platforms. This includes but not limited to implementation, optimisation, maintenance, auditing and reporting of SEM campaigns(You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives)Position Description
