What youll be doing in this roleOur Uniting Household Model of care empowers our residential care teams with freedom to support our residents in ways that help them maintain a sense of meaning and purpose in their day. As a Carer in a household, youll provide care, companionship, and emotional support to residents to help support their independence and improve their quality of life. Uniting seeks Care Workers to work at Uniting Kingscliff on a part time permanent basis.

Your care work may include: Providing daily living assistance with showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings Laundry and cleaning and Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
Who were looking for Ideally, youll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or an equivalent qualification. If youre not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there Youll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if youre studying or have recently become qualified. Youll be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful and be able to live Unitings everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
