job detailsReporting to the National People & Culture Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the People and Culture (P&C) function by providing P&C and Administrative support to this nationally IT Consulting company. Working closely also with the broad management team, this role helps contribute to the business objectives in a dynamic environment. The People and Culture Coordinator will be accountable for assisting the National People and Culture Manager in developing initiatives that foster a culture of retention and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities of this position include;
- Coordinating all aspects of employee on-boarding and off-boarding
- Delivering, and administering content for employees on site Inductions
- Managing the administrative component of employees changes to conditions of their employment in a confidential manner
- Gathering and coordination of regular feedback for staff during probation and annual reviews
- First point of contact for general P&C enquiries from employees
- Provide day to day administrative support as required to P&C, Talent Acquisition or the broader management team
- Helping maintain compliance through review of Policy and Procedures, as guided by the National People and Culture Manager
- Assisting with P&C reporting as required
- Coordination, fielding queries, and booking of employee training
- Administrator for other P&C related systems currently including TeamGage, Good Thnx and Go1
- Maintaining a close relationship with the Finance and Payroll teams for administration of timesheets and employee leave amongst other details
- Ensuring the HRIS (Employment Hero) has accurate and up to date information reflected at all times
- Coordinating the Company Updates, Company Events (including EOFY Celebration and End of Year celebration), including booking, leading the setup and coordinating catering and drinks as required
To be successful in this role your will need
- Previous experience in a fast paced P&C/Human resources role
- Understanding of employment legislation, compliance requirements and regulatory changes impacting the workforce
- Experience with Employment Hero is strongly desired
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to build strong relationships and earn trust within the broader team
- Tertiary qualification in Human resource, or a Business related field is desirable
