The client is an Australian advanced manufacturing company that specialises in water surety solutions. Operating since 2007 as Australias exclusive manufacturing and support licence offering the world's most advanced and respected continuous filament wound GRP pipe system, technology and brand.
The focus for the companys people is to ensure they are invested in developing and training their peoples skill sets to increase the teams ability to work productively and efficiently with view to provide growth opportunities within the business
Responsibilities would include
- Make appropriate actions are taken to ensure the health and safety of oneself and all others by and accepting the responsibility of adhering to policy, procedures, rules and requirements.
- Support our National Sales Manager and Engineering Manager in communicating with customers by providing product information, pricing and lead times in a consistent format and timely manner.
- Provide quotations to Customers for standard and non-standard products. Develop pricing levels for all products and monitor profit levels
- Provide technical guidance for existing and new products to Customers and develop and maintain our CRM System.
- Draft and review marketing collateral, including electronic media, as required to increase awareness of products and brand in the marketplace.
- Carry out projects and duties as directed from time to time in line with policy and procedure as laid out in the company Quality Management System.
Skills and experience should include
- Demonstrated experience in strong negotiation skill
- Excellent customer service delivering on satisfaction
- Ability to use judgement to making quality decisions under pressure
- Microsoft office - especially spread sheeting and use of ERP systems for quoting and invoicing ( SAP highly desirable)
- Ability to meet deadlines and process of handling conflicting priorities
- Written and oral communication
- Creative and innovative solutions and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen with analytical evidence to support
