Stakeholder engagement and marketing
Engagement with in-centre counsellors and Outreach Program counsellors to support promotion and delivery of group programs
Group program planning and coordination for the region
Coordinate with the community engagement team as a point of contact for psycho educational workshops and treatment groups related to transition seminar attendance, ADF promotional activities and ex-service organisations in the region.
Recruitment and on boarding of facilitators & trainers
Source appropriately qualified and experienced Group Program Facilitators and provide on boarding
Group intake, screening and reporting
Review intake assessments including assessment suitability
- Educational workshop clinical activities
- Clinical group coordination
- Financial Management Group FY Budget and Projections annually track costs to support budget expenditure and monitor group participation utilising tracking sheets provided.
Salary & Benefits:
- $55- $65 per hour + super
- Melbourne CBD location
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in teaching, training and facilitation, ideally within a mental health/community sector
OR
Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist /
Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration
OR
Qualification as a Social Worker eligible for membership of the Australian
Association Social Workers (AASW) and be eligible to apply for Mental Health accreditation.
AND
Working with Children (WWC) or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance
Knowledge of mental health programs
Strong organisational skills
Experience developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
Current drivers licence
Desirable Skills and Experience
Relevant management experience
An understanding of the challenges faced by those who have served in the Australian
Defence Force
