About Our ClientHigh end e-commerce retail business, backed by a well-regarded private equity outfit. This Australian owned organisation prides themselves on high-quality and authentic products. After a period of substantial growth both locally and across international markets, this business are looking to move to the next phase of expansion with ambitions to double in size in the next 2 years and achieve their 5-year goal. As a result, they are looking for a high achieving Head of Finance, Finance Director, Financial Controller or Chief Financial Officer looking to step into an agile, high-growth and challenging environment.
Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a trusted partner when it comes to strategic decision making and have a strong eye for identifying top-line growth opportunities. You will own the budgeting, forecasting and planning process for the organisation and have the ability to "see beyond finance" when it comes to playing an integral role in the commercial operations such as inventory management, supply chain & distribution. As the CFO, you will have full control of all statutory, compliance, internal controls, management of transactional finance and the audit process. In this role, you will be tasked to build both your own best-in-class finance team and processes, to provide maximum efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
- Prior experience as a CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Director or Financial Controller within wholesale, retail or e-commerce business will be looked upon favourably
- Data driven and technically strong accounting background
- Personable, approachable and collaborative approach when it comes to leadership
- Can do attitude that wants to work in a challenging but rewarding environment
