The Company:
This globally renowned company is an end-to-end Supply Chain solutions and e-commerce provider serving clients in markets such as consumer electronics, communications, computing, software and retail. They are dedicated to high standards in all aspects of their business. They pride themselves on developing socially and environmentally responsible supply chain solutions for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high inventory accuracy levels through cycle counting and investigation.
- Coordinate weekly/monthly cycle count and Yearly full counts reconciliations and investigate or resolve any discrepancies following the stock take
- Minimise shrinkage by investigating the causes of damaged and or missing stock escalating any concerns.
- Set up pick details, put-away, replenishment rules and maintain Material Master file
- Ensure internal quality control processes are followed and maintained
- Oversee warehouse replenishment activities whilst reviewing and implementing efficient allocation of Pick Faces for all Class, A, B, C products and actively participate in warehouse inventory layout and optimisation.
- Review controls for re-classed products check put-away rules and pick faces and adjust
- Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices
- Follow up on Client and our inventory discrepancy issues and ensure requests are actioned timely as directed
- Reconciling book to book inventory between our books and our client's books
To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills and a background in Inventory Control and managing a high volume and variety of products.
The essentials are:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar inventory controller, logistics, warehousing analyst role or similar
- Forklift license (LF/LO) ( would be desirable)
- FMCG warehousing and Inventory experience in similar role essential
- Writes and speaks with ease
- Comfortable with the Microsoft office suite including Excel and Outlook
- Experience with computer-based warehouse management systems (WMS), including both RF and paper-based systems.
- SAP experience is highly regarded.
- Proactive approach to challenges and take initiative to implement solutions and improvements
