ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

The purpose of the Fund Confirmation Officer position is to provide information patient is eligible for admission to St Vincent's Private Hospital.

The Health Funds department is responsible for patient Inform Financial Consent and to work within the philosophy, mission and values of the Sisters of Charity and St Vincent's Health Australia.

As an outstanding Fund Confirmation Officer, you will have excellent phone manner and communication skills.

Your skills will include:Knowledge and experience with computer systems and programsExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsExperience in Health Fund Insurance guidelines and policiesAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamAbility to work in a fast paced work environment whilst maintaining accuracy and exceptional customer servicesHigh level of commitment to the Philosophy, Mission, Values and Ethics of the Sisters of Charity and St Vincent's Health Australia

St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney is located in the heart of the well-known St Vincent's Health Campus in Darlinghurst and co-located with St Vincent's Hospital Sydney and research centres including the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, The Kinghorn Cancer Centre and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Our co-location creates cross-campus opportunities for all aspects of our health care business and the staff who work in it. We have recently completed a major redevelopment and refurbishment worth more than $150M which has transformed our facilities including the addition of a 13-level building providing additional patient accommodation, consulting suites, operating theatres, both inpatient and day rehabilitation services with start-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool and a new ambulatory care centre.

REQUIREMENTS:
