The Role
To provide extensive trade skills in the fabrication and welding area to support business operations in various environments. Your role will involve the following but not limited to;
...
- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Cut & prepare steel components
- GMAW, GTAW and MMAW Welding
- Prepare and finish surfaces
- Undertaking a variety of non welding tasks to support your team
To be successful for the role
You will need recent experience as a boilermaker. It would be beneficial but not necessary if you had experience in Pressure Vessels/Piping/Structural fabrication and Stainless steel and carbon steel experience.
- Trade Qualifications in Engineering / Fabrication , / Welding
- Understand and interpret workshop drawings
- EWP license
- Confined Space ticket
- Reliable and a team player
- Available Monday - Saturday ongoing
You will be required to pass a Federal Police Check and be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance.
