- Support the Program Director, in ensuring the benefits of and initiatives of Project are achieved
- Provide strategic evidence-based, best-practice vendor and human resources management
- Lead software development through agile delivery, ensuring the successful development of user stories, through to successful implementation of the product to the customers.
- Lead and coordinate delivery Infrastructure as a service, Platform as a service, cloud migrations, and end user devices.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery, reduction of risk, and return on investments.
- Effectively identify and manage risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes and initiatives.
- Develop and implement best practice project management principles, practices, methodologies, and tools to facilitate effective project delivery.
- Lead complex Business analysis, data-collection, research, analysis, and consultation to drive delivery and inform project recommendations.
- Track, monitor, and report on the status of the project and initiatives being managed.
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, and presentations on designated project outcomes, findings, risks and recommendations.
What do you need to apply for this role?
- Demonstrated success in planning and delivering successful projects both within the public sector and within the private sector
- Demonstrated experience in large outsourced software development projects, resulting in limited defects, while empowering your customers with improved user experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including the capability to influence positive constructive outcomes.
- Highly developed leadership skills in managing project teams, driving performance and desirable experiences.
- Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycles, with practical examples of Prince 2 methodologies.
- Experience in either being or leading product owners, business analysis, organisational change managers, and development teams.
