Job Description
- Review and preparation of monthly management reports for presentation to senior management and Board of Directors
- Liaison with senior management and mine site personnel, providing ad hoc analysis and support as required
- Review and preparation of expense analysis reports and budgets
- Review and preparation of analysis for capital projects, including acquisitions
- Work with senior management in developing and improving finance processes
- Liaising with senior management and external parties for mining rehabilitation liabilities updates
- Assist/Lead the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, including cash requirements
- Cost analysis, forecasting, performance reporting, and capital management
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role, you will be a Chartered Accountant who ideally trained with the big 4 or mid-tier firms within Audit. Previous experience in mining is essential, preferably with an operating mining asset. Experience leading small teams will be highly regarded.
Our client is a growing organisation with significant upside, so the successful candidate will need to be open to being hands-on in the short-medium term, as they look to establish the team and build appropriate structure and succession planning.
