The Australian Medical Council is a national medical education standards and assessment authority.
The Administration Officer plays an integral role in supporting the strategic policy and research team to deliver on projects that will shape the future standards of medical training, assessment and medical practice with agile, detail-focused administration skills. This is a busy role. The AMC is running multiple projects, and engaging a wide range of stakeholders in meetings, workshops and online events across the year, and these often overlap.
Terms
This is a permanent position, working with a team that is mainly Canberra-based. A base salary of $66,800-$78,000 is available, depending on skills and experience (plus generous leave and leave loading, 10.5% superannuation, salary packaging).
The role:
1. Provide professional and client focussed support for the AMCs engagement of external experts and stakeholders (including managing travel, meeting arrangements).
2. Support project leads to track workloads, manage timelines, project plans, and records.
3. Run events such as stakeholder consultations, surveys and workshops.
5. Manage and track enquiries and correspondence and project communications including website updates.
6. Manage our records and files.
7. Help plan, organise and maintain the teams meeting calendar and diary so a wide range of responsibilities are effectively managed.
8. Set up and manage AMC projects.
