Job Description
The Freight Forwarder will be responsible for but not limited to are:
- Accurate and timely processing of documentation and bookings coordination, including arrival notices, invoices and delivery orders
- Register jobs received ensuring all details are received and recorded accurately
- Follow up outstanding documentation with customers and advise of any applicable fees and charges incurred for late lodgement
- Ensure all export shipments are being processed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Administration including but not limited to entering orders, updating systems and placing freight bookings
- Maintain a high level of customer service in all dealing with clients
The Successful Applicant
The successful Freight Forwarder will have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of all MS products
- Strong working knowledge of Cargowise is preferred
- Relevant degree is preferred
