Job Description
- Responsible for Sales budget within Victoria by finding new routes to market as well as strategically growing existing accounts
- Responsible for new business sales outside of the existing account portfolio
- Develop and implement competitive sales strategies that outperform competitors
- Drive an intimate understanding of market, trends, and competitor products to enable sustained growth
- Inform clients of new products and services as they are introduced.
- Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree qualified or relative hands-on experience
- 3 - 5 years exp within a BDM/Account Manager type position
- Responsible for Territories of Vic
- Experience within Capital Equipment but any Technical product exp that requires solution selling would also be valid
- Experience and examples of managing and growing a sales budget up to $1million AUD.
- Must have a majority of B2B sales experience
- Must have worked autonomously in the past, this is a role where direct Manager is Interstate so must be able to motivate themselves effectively
- Must have distribution network experience as this is a main channel to market
- Must have effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders up to Executive level
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills with the drive to expand career
