About the role
You will form part of the national People advisory team, reporting to the HR Business Partnering Manager in Brisbane. Based in the Townsville branch you will partner with your regional manager and major stakeholders to ensure that the regional business strategy is achieved. You will provide fit for purpose support solutions and guidance to people issues. Assist in the development and implementation of Corporate HR Initiatives and Projects Provide support to managers and team leaders on performance issues and coach to successful conclusions. Succession planning and identification of emerging leaders Identify risk, challenges and trends and provide solutions About you
Essential to your success is your ability to build relationships with your team and with internal and external stakeholders. You enjoy working with others and delivering on personal and team-based outcomes. You have a good sense of humour, can engage in banter and remain professional. Its expected that you will have relevant HR or related qualifications and experience working with blue-collar workforces. You will have a strong breadth and depth of exposure as a HR Generalist with extensive experience in employee relations. Experience in the delivery of change programs and exposure to or involvement in restructures is highly desirable. You will be a self-starter with the ability to leverage support form senior stakeholders and your team to deliver results. You must be agile with the ability to pivot when required.
