Summary of the role: Based at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg Fixed Term part time (43hours per fortnight or 21.5hours per week) (0.05EFT) position available The position is accredited for the equivalent of 6 months fulltime training through SOMANZ/RACP Flexibility with roles may be negotiated to suit individual training requirements Senior Registrar/Fellow will provide medical care for inpatients and outpatients at Mercy Hospital for Women as per position description Employment terms as per the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Hospital Medical Officer Certified AgreementABOUT YOU: Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Advanced Trainee in General Medicine and/or relevant speciality area or have completed your FRACP (General medicine or other relevant specialty) or equivalent Highly developed and up to date clinical and theoretical knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team
ABOUT US:
Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
