The Finance Manager will manage a team of five consisting of transactional and financial accountants and will support the CFO with a number of change and improvement initiatives including an ERP implementation and buidling a success focussed and high performing team.
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for
- Management of month end close process, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and payroll
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in a timely and accurate basis to allow for monthly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Formulating accounting policies in accordance with AASB and ensure consistency throughout the Company
- Direct and indirect taxes, with assistance of third party tax adviser
- Maintain accurate weekly cashflow forecasts and manage cash inflows and outflows to ensure optimum cash position
- Overseeing the completion of the Annual Audit and preparation of annual IFRS Financial Statements
- Confidently leading and developing the accounting team to ensure efficient, effective operations of the department whilst serving the needs of the business
To be successful in this role you will be CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) and will have a strong knowledge of ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP is highly beneficial as is experience in driving process improvements, automation and partnering with the business. You will have a high level of proficiency with Excel and will have experience leading an organisation through audit and statutory reporting.
This role will be office based for five days per week and as such my client is only accepting applications from candidates who are happy to make this commitment.
