job detailsRandstad are seeking immediate applications from available and suitable candidates for the role of Project Manager within a rapidly growing mining services business in the north of South Australia.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and successfully. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a projects organization and timeline.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Project planning and execution
- Managing and monitoring budgeting, timeline and scheduling of jobs
- Ensuring the quality management system is implemented and maintained
- Closure of projects including document sign off and invoicing
- Liaising between client, supplier and company to ensure a smooth workflow
- Quoting and tendering on relevant projects
- Ensuring incidents, non-conformance and quality issues are reported immediately
- Apply effective change management practices
- Recognition and resolution of conflict in the best interest of the company, client and individuals
- Team leadership and supporting a safe and positive workplace culture
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in similar mining, mechanical, electrical and/or SMP sectors
- Diploma qualified in project/contract management or engineering would be highly regarded
- Excellent time management & multitasking skills with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrate high-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Overriding commitment to safety
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Energetic with a positive, can-do attitude.
