As a Financial Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports. You will work closely with other departments to provide insights and analysis that will help drive business decisions and support the company's growth objectives.
Job Description
- Responsible for month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Analyse financial data and provide insightful reports to support business decisions
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and tax laws
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors
- Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA/CPA qualification or working towards
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, preferably in the industrial industry
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of US GAAP
