About the role:
With a large facility recently opened in Dandenong South, we are looking to speak with an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to develop our growth and expand our reach across Victoria.
Main Responsibilities:Identify, target and develop Commercial and Key Accounts for the Victoria region, particularly across civil, hire, demolition and waste industryIdentifying new segment business opportunitiesBe responsible for achieving a set budget of revenue and number of unitsTransact sales to developed Commercial and Key Accounts Account and relationship management of accounts
You will need to be an 'all hands-on deck' team member who isn't afraid to get your hands dirty to make the operation succeed. You will have the freedom to achieve the best results and will be on the road meeting clients. This is not an order taking role and requires continuous outbound engagement with potential clients - the opportunity for professional growth is significant. As our company continues to grow, you grow.
What we're looking for:Previous sales knowledge and relationships in the construction equipment industry (ideal 5+ years)A hunter and someone who is able to pro-actively develop business Demonstrated ability in sales/business development, driving opportunities from concept through to sustainable and profitable sales. Sound fiscal control and a demonstrated ability in the profitable management of accounts through price management and promotional planning. Business degree or similar / relevant experience. Some demonstrated technical and mechanical aptitude.A strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
On offer is an extremely generous package including base salary + large performance bonus. You will also be provided with the required tools of trade (Ford Ranger, phone, laptop).
