Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSCM) is a business unit within SA Health and is central to SA Health's ability to deliver high quality health care services.
Randstad is working exclusively with SA Health and PSCM to recruit a Director Supply Chain Excellence (SAES1). You will work among one of the largest supply chain teams in the state - a group of passionate and professional individuals. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Executive Director of Supply Chain, and will be responsible for enhancing efficiencies and delivering critical projects across PSCM.
Your new role will involve:
- Leadership of a multi disciplinary team including governance and business services, data analytics and reporting and business systems and improvement
- Responsibility for the strategic plan and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across PSCM
- Creating effective and efficient supply chain systems focused on user experience, analysing data and metrics for trends, drivers, and performance results against industry benchmarks
- Leading systems and analytics strategies, establishing capability, frameworks and dashboards
- Promote a culture of excellence regarding PSCMs governance and compliance frameworks
- Performing as a valued member of the senior management leadership team, delivering holistic outcomes to key stakeholders across multiple locations
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated prior leadership of a medium to large multi disciplinary team
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or commerce, and CIPS qualifications or similar industry equivalent are beneficial
- You will be an outcome focused manager, passionate about delivering a high quality of service and excellence in contemporary supply chain, technology and analytics
- Sound systems knowledge, experience delivering reporting frameworks and performance dashboards
- You will be an adaptive and ambitious senior manager, able to lead through change
- Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes in a fast paced environment whilst ensuring adherence to corporate governance and best practice
- You will be a community minded individual, passionate about ensuring the delivery of affordable, safe, and sustainable healthcare for South Australians
