ROLE DESCRIPTION: ...
- Provides secretarial support to the CIO to manage the departments Information and related Technology (IT) governance, committees and branch operations.
- Conducts research and analysis to prepare executive communications and reports; and
- Coordinates review of key IT governance documents in a planned, organised and timely manner.Understands advice, guidance and expertise to promote adoption of IT methods and tools, and adherence to policies and standards. Evaluates and selects appropriate methods and tools in line with agreed policies and standards
- Collaborates reviews of the benefits and value of methods and tools to assist with improvement recommendations.
- Assists in planning for executive-level meetings and forums. Sets up files and compiles and distributes
reports for meetings. Facilitates progress updates from members of an executive team.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Demonstrated ability to apply lateral and creative thinking to generate ideas and innovative solutions, including having knowledge of contemporary issues related to best practice principles, methods and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting corporate governance structures and executive functions.
- Highly developed organisational, communication, research and analytical skills.
