This is an amazing opportunity for an energetic and natural people-person to join an Australian Telecommunications business as the Receptionist/Office Assistant. They pride themselves on creating an inclusive and supportive work environment, where their people are celebrated and recognised for their commitment and hard work.
Your New Role
Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking a charismatic individual to join their team as the Receptionist in the Sydney CBD office. You will report into and be mentored by the Executive Assistant, who is highly regarded in the business for their supportive and warm management style. This is a 9 month fixed term contract, with the possibility for extension or a permanent role for the right person.
Your Responsibilities:

- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organised.
- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and professional attitude.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments.
- Assist with company events, catering and booking travel arrangements.
About You:
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Office Assistant, Office Coordinator or Administration role.
- Proficiency in MS Office is desirable.
- Happy to work 5 days in the office.
