Seeking an exceptional office administrator to join a dynamic and reputable builder in South-East suburbs of Melbourne!
Are you an ambitious and experienced Office Administrator looking to take the next step in your career? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented admin professional with a respected commercial builder.
Who youll be working for:
My client is a boutique and growing commercial builder who specialises in retail, education, multi-residential and aged/child care projects across Melbourne. The team is made up of a close knit, established team of construction professionals, who are experiencing an exciting period of growth and have a solid pipeline of projects.
About the role:
The role will begin with three days a week, with flexibility around the days and hours you choose to work. As Office Administrator, you will be at the heart of operations, managing day to day office activities and providing crucial administrative support to the management team. With a background in accounts you will also be responsible for managing the accounts payable/receivable and inventory function. Your experience will see you take ownership of the role, and you will play a vital part in driving the business forward.
What youll do:
- Provide top-notch administrative support, ensuring smooth operations
- Reconciling in Xero
- Keep accurate records of office expenses and financial transactions
- Assisting in material ordering
- Assisting with payroll
- Assist with the project coordination and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Coordinate office activities and manage office staff effectively
- Assist with onboarding new starters
- Assist with marketing and social media
- Deliver exceptional customer service to valued clients and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with all company policies
You will need:
- Proficiency in Xero, Excel and Outlook
- Background in construction ideal
- Experience with Procore beneficial
- Experience in accounts payable
- General administrative skills to handle a variety of office tasks
- A can-do attitude and enthusiasm with all tasks, big or small
